The Lovers program, established in 2003, acknowledges the vital role that collectors play in the development and advocacy of contemporary art and living artists, and offers collectors an opportunity to support the work of the Melbourne Art Foundation.
The Lovers program aims to bring together passionate like-minded individuals to celebrate the visual arts, as well as offer a personal association with the work of the Melbourne Art Foundation. Art Lovers are amongst the most influential art collectors from Australia and New Zealand and are pivotal to the Melbourne Art Foundation's programming plans for the future.
The Foundation's membership of over 100 Lovers, along with significant donations from Extraordinary Lovers, directly contribute to the success of Melbourne Art Foundation Programs at Melbourne Art Fair, including Project Rooms, Lectures and Forums, Melbourne Art Foundation's Artist Commission and Education Space.
Benefits of Loving include exclusive Packages for Melbourne Art Fair 2012, a range of social events including the annual Valentine's Day dinner, special accommodation rates, as well as loving notes regularly transmitted through the Foundation newsletter.
